Felix A. Sommerfeld, a German naval intelligence officer, became close advisor to Mexican president Francisco Madero, then powerful arms buyer and diplomatic envoy for Pancho Villa. All the while he supplied intelligence to Germany, helped corner munitions to prevent the allies to supply themselves, and finally almost succeeded in creating a war between Mexico and the United States. His career remained a secret for 100 years until now.

Join me for a vivid presentation of the Life and Times of Felix Sommerfeld at UNAM San Antonio on March 4, 2016.
